This award builds upon the Certificate in General Insurance for the Motor Industry and focuses on the roles and responsibilities of those responsible for FSA regulation within Authorised Firms. Participant Profile
Senior Managers or those who take responsibility for FSA activity within a dealership.
Entry Requirements
The Certificate in General Insurance for the Motor Industry or similar qualification.
Expected outcomes
A clear understanding and a working knowledge of:
- The remit of the Financial Services Authority
- The principles for firms
- Apportioning responsibilities
- Systems and controls
- Operational risk
- The approved person regime
- Principles for approved persons.
